ABOUT ME

Connor Pannell is an American director, writer, and cinematographer.

His works have been featured by the Tribeca Film Festival, The Austin Film Festival, SeriesFest, Catalyst Film Festival, and many others.

Pannell’s work has taken him across the globe from the USA to Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, creating feature films, short films, web series, and television.

As a director, Pannell's work is rooted in crafting character-centric genre narratives that explore the complexities of morality, identity, and resilience. The visuals of his work often live at the intersection of emotional realism and stylized memory. His vision focuses on flawed, hyper-real characters that highlight the human spirit when pushed to their limits.

Pannell's career also includes a tenure as Senior Producer at the Peabody Awards, where he contributed to projects featuring The Last of Us, Shōgun, The Bear, David Letterman, and House of Cards, among many others.

He is also passionate about the origin of the chocolate chip cookie.
